William Micklem is an international coach and educational and motivational speaker, FBHS, and author of The DK Complete Horse Riding Manual, the world's top selling training manual.  He found Karen and David O'Connor's three Olympic medalists Biko, Gilt Edge and Custom Made and breeds event horses, including Karen O'Connor's Olympic horse Mandiba and Zara Phillip's High Kingdom.  He is also the inventor of the Rambo Micklem Bridle that is now fully approved for use in dressage by the FEI. 

Recent presentations have included those for The Irish Pony Club, Dressage Ireland, Eventing Ireland, Cian O’Connor Showjumping Workshops, The Irish Special Olympics Coaches, The World Sport Horse Breeding Federation, Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain, Coaching Ireland, Irish Paralympic elite athletes and coaches, Equitana USA, the Football Association of Ireland, the Irish Primary Schools Teachers Association and the GAA National Hurling Association.
